Is zumiez a good place to buy a skateboard?
i keep reading that its not. I read that the people dont really know how to answer questions about what kind of things you will need. But thats no problem for me. My boyfriend skates so he knows what i need. Also, im just learning, so if the quality isnt that good, i dont think it will be a problem for me since i wont be doing any tricks yet.
So is it a good place for me to go?
its not the best because the stuff is over priced but if theres a skateshop by ur house then use that store cause stuff is cheaper. also active and boarders are good skateshops. boards at Zumiez 60 active and borders around 45.

no they definaty arent for a few reasons
1.stores like Zumiez, journeys, pac sun and all those places
sell the whole image of skateboaring
but nearly all the people ive ever met there
DONT ACTUAL SKATE
or know much about it other than what they think the fashion is
2. they sell the image they dont actualy know what they are talking about when it comes to the actual board and such, and hence so they will charge you out the ass for a probably warped board

If you know what you’re doing, then it’s not a bad place to check out. I admit some of the stuff is a bit expensive, but it’s not that far away from the other shops. A shop that I would reccomend is Active. It’s great!
