Cloudveil: Women’s RPK Pants – Created for excellent durability and waterproof protection, the Cloudveil Women’s RPK Pant was made to rip first tracks while others are waiting for the snow and wind to subside. It’s made from an innovative three-ply design of Gore-Tex Softshell fabric, a two-way stretch material that has a flannel tricot lining that adds more comfort and warmth than some mesh-lined ski and Snowboarding Pants. Up along the thighs you’ll find 3/4-length mesh vent zippers to help you cool off on sunny days above the clouds. Cloudveil articulated the knees of their RPK Pant but kept the look along the lines of a comfortable casual jean, with belt loops along the waist and a snap closure. This is a great ski shell pant for big mountain resorts and heli-ski adventures into the backcountry.

Burton: Men’s Ronin Cargo Pants – A nice blend of style and function, the Burton MenÂ’s Ronin Cargo Pant has unique flare and performance features for serious alpine use. The loose cut and articulated knees are a must for unrestricted movement at the pipe or park and the asymmetrical rear and cargo pockets set the Burton Ronin Cargo menÂ’s pant apart from the sea of look-alike snowboard pants on the mountain. The fully seam taped, breathable, and highly water resistant Storm-lite® 3.0-C 2-layer laminated fabric repels all but the multi-day El Nino drencher, so this pant is a fine choice unless you plan to go on extended backcountry adventures. For sun-drenched conditions, inner thigh vents offer effective temperature control. Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets provide a warm refuge for your hands or an additional space to store goodies if you fill the cargo pockets. The Burton Ronin Cargo Pant has an integrated waist adjustment and microfleece lined waistband to achieve just the right positioning for all day comfort. And to push the comfort scale even higher, stretch boot gaiters block soft snow from entering the top of your snowboard boots.
