In Touch 4.1 
Finally we got a recording of this song with decent sound! Song #1 of a 3 song set at Metro SDA, Hyattsville MD. Our first time there since March 2007! This song was originally recorded by “A Special Blend” (Lori Bryan, Mervyn Warren – (former member of Take 6), Joya Foster, Mark Kibble (of Take 6) and Claude McKnight III (of Take 6) on the album “No Where But Up”. Lead vocals here by Christie Dashiell (also of Afro Blue).

This is the song, “When We All Get to Heaven” as performed by A Special Blend. The group formed in the early 80s and put an excellent record together, entitled “Nowhere But Up.” I grew up listening to their music and I wish they could have come out with more stuff, but… se la vive…
I know a lot of folks were looking for this album and I have the whole thing on CD. This is the first installment–I’ll be sure to upload the rest eventually.
