That’s pretty low but considering there are some good deals going on you may be able to find one at these websites.

Don’t buy a snowboarding jacket for under $60. Save another $40 or so and get a nice one. I recommend Columbia brand.

Sixty dollars isn’t very much but at the end of the season there are some killer deals. Larger stores tend to have better deals to clear out inventory and you can always check websites, the drawback is not being able to try the coat on. If you’re near a large chain store like a Dick’s Sporting Goods they will have winter gear severely marked down and they carry Spyder, Burton, North Face and the like, that is of course if they still have winter gear displayed, most chain stores start hanging next year’s christmas decorations soon. I was in a ski shop today that had everything 70% off so if you check out a few places you’ll find some great deals this time of the year.

You can often find decent snowboarding jackets at stores like Marshalls. I’ve seen Burton, 686, and others. I picked up a pair of Burton pants for $25.00 and they’re great. Now is a good time to hunt for end of season sales here too, winter stuff is all marked down.

Ross. They sometimes have bURTON or Sessions. Also a lot of Columbia. The water proof ratings will be low and they will feel clammy because they wont breath well but if 60 bucks is what you have put aside there are only few choices. Hit a local shop and see if thery have water proof hoodies…the sales dropping now will get one of those in to your range. Its not insulated but you can layer underneath and at least be dry. That is the most important thing. Stay dry and you stay warm. Also try thrift stores and bring with you a list of companies that make good stuff. Burton, sessions, ride, north face, volcom, k2, columbia, holden, bonfire, you might get lucky. Backcountry.com will have a live operator on-line and you can just ask if they have anything a couple of years old that might work and they love to help. Also again try Ride snowboards. They have some higher-end waterproof rated jackets that arent as expensive as some of the other brands so assk about that first
ooo….army surplus stores too. Cheap and then just ask an employee which ones are warm and waterproof. It wont be a snowboard brand but you can save some good money this way
