What should I use to mount a longboard, skimboards, snowboards and skateboards to a wall?

Monday, November 16th, 2009

I want cheap board racks that I can screw into my wall, and be able to take them out easily.

Those bicycle racks should work, they are rubberized and have lag screw ends

What is the best brand of wax to use on snowboards?

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

I like to wax my snowboard by myself. But im not sure the wax im using is the best. Any suggestion?
Thanks to both of you! I really liked the KUU wax but I think that the NOTwax looks easier to apply. I’ll go with that one and see how it goes. Once again thanks so much!

The best wax to use is not actually wax at all! I like to use Zardoz Notwax which is the worlds slipperiest base lubricant. Its easier to apply, as its an inert (it cant dry up or evaporate) liquid. You just rub it on with the felt pad and go shred. It specifically for skis and Snowboards. Id definitely recommend this over wax!

I am interested in buying one, I have been snowboarding for a while now but im not sure about which brand to get.

the boards the cost more do so because they earn it. so a board the is over 200 is a good board. Burton does make the best boards again even though they have been faulty a few years ago. some brand i recomend is
Burton
Forum
Ride
Gnu
Santa Cruz
Rossignal (last choice)
there are some others but i can’t think of them.
Burton makes the best boards because they have the money to throw into tech for their boards.

what are the top snowboards on the market with the greatest flex?

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

Im looking for a snowboard with a crazy amount of flex, im currently looking at the k2 www rocker but i dont know if it has good flex or not.

What is a good snowboard with crazy flex? meant for steet riding?
is the k2 www rocker more flexible than the k2 www?

Didnt you just have a post about this?

Rome Artifact , Rome Artifact 1985, Ride kink, K2 www are some of the softest boards you can get.

WWW or WWW rocker are almost identical except ones a rocker. And it would be easier to butter cause uhhh its a rocker.

Those racks that go on top of your car that hold skis and snowboards, how much do they cost?

Those racks that go on top of your car that hold skis and Snowboards, how much do they cost?

Ballpark cost for a full rack (meaning you have no factory roof racks at all) will run you about $350 to start. The Foot Packs are about $140, the Fit Kits start around $50, Load Bars are about $50, and the basic 4-ski rack is $110. (all parts Thule.) If you have a factory rack all you need is the ski rack and the Thule Fat Mouth clamps. I think they are about $50, so rack & clamps will run you about $160 new.

Cargo boxes range in prices depending on the material and the size.

You can pick the stuff up at a discount if to are a Ski Patroller or Instructor. Also if you work for a gear store you can get Thule and Yakima on pro-deal. Both ways save you boucoup bucks!
