Where do I buy Snowboards wholesale?

Friday, January 1st, 2010

I am finding websites that claim 70% off, but I don’t see wholesale websites for Snowboards.
I have a business that modifys used snowboards, however, I am looking to make a change to modifying new snowboards. I truly am looking for a wholesaler in snowboards.

Distributors typically do not sell directly to the general public, they sell to retailers. I do not know of many "factory direct" or other sales channels that skip the distributor or retailer. There are some: for instance Prior snowboards deal directly with the rider, but they do so at retail prices. They are great boards and so come at a high price. Another example is Coiler. In both cases you can buy from stock or have your board custom made. These exceptions to the rule are both high-quality handmade boards. Not the sort that people buy when looking for a deal.

The best retail buys are end-of-season (now) or last year’s model at the beginning of a new season. Good luck.

What do you call the thing they screw on to the tips of rental snowboards and skis?

Monday, December 28th, 2009

I split open the tip of my board a little. I epoxied it, but I was thinking of clamping it with something just to be safe. What do they call those things they put on the tips of the rental boards? Where can you get them?

Where can I get cheap plastic snowboards from?

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

I bought 2 from Sports World last year. They are about 1-1.5 metres long and cost roughly £10 and I can’t find them again.
They are good for taking on Southport beach to be towed by a mate in a car or for going down sand hills.
I don’t earn enough to buy anything wholesale and I have checked ebay, not there.

Keep brainstorming people.
The "X-Treme" on the target website are nearly spot on. Unfortunately I am in the UK and they don’t ship here. If you know who makes them I might be able to find them here.

What Are Some Light Weight Snowboards For Women?

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

Looking to get my first snowboard. Someone told me to look at kemper boards what are some other good lightweight begginers boards for women!
Thanks so much!

Well, pretty much any brand’s women’s beginner board is going to be pretty light. That’s one of the hallmarks of a women’s board (along with a narrower waist and softer flex).

That being said – I’d just check out a few different brand websites and research which are their women’s beginner boards. Here are a few to get you started:
