Tim Burton didn’t … Tim Burton didn’t destroy the franchise, it was Batman Forever and Batman & Robin where he wasn’t in charge that it got run into the ground. But I think he didn’t improve Batman, just put his own style into it.
When Batman Returns … When Batman Returns came on ION the other day, I almost died laughing, because it showed a making segment before commercials Tim Burton appeared exactly how Kevin Smith described him: artsy fartsy.
Tim Burton is … Tim Burton is horribly, hideously, inexplicably over-rated. He destroyed the Batman franchise, and will do the same to others in the future….
I understand where … I understand where Kevin is coming from, but it’s a little serious to be talking about it to a public audience don’t you think? I mean it kinda shows how Kevin is indeterminably hypocritical. He says Tim Burton bases himself off one type of person- all the time. Well, isn’t it fishy that he plays a certain character..all the time? Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with Kevin Smith, but I feel Tim Burton needs a little backing up in this situation.
Wow, the heat from … Wow, the heat from this flame war is singing my hair. Where’s the love? XD
I’m definitely a fan of Tim Burton, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think he might have been overreacting in this issue. Of course I don’t know the full story so I try not to judge. At any rate, this is a comedy routine, so let’s try not to take it TOO seriously.
ok thats your point … ok thats your point of view. im not defending Burton, he was over reacted, Im just saying he enjoys to make an publicly of someone more succesful than him and personally I find it kinda lame. he even prove that by saying he will use that Burton sentence in his book to get more credit.
well, thats the … well, thats the first time ive seen the same typo done in both comments, but its not pathetic. it would be pathetic if he was saying something really bad about him. kevin was just making a joke and tim went crazy. he was insulting kevin smith, and even if he didnt know that kevin was joking (wich he should have known, because kevin would never say anything like that seriously.), but kevin didnt insult. if anything, burton is the pathetic one.
well I dont think … well I dont think so, but… even if he would be more talented…wouldn be that even worst?… I mean, mock of your competitors when they are bigger is ok, but when they are smaller (or less talented)…is that patetic or what?
he is really funny … he is really funny and I enjoy to hear him. but its kinda patetic base your popularity on the descredit of people whose achievements are bigger than yours.
