I would like the company to be at a reasonable price. Also where are the best places in Pennsylvania to learn. And what tips would you give to a beginner like myself.
for reasonable prices, go for the lower name brands (morrow, 5150) they are cheaper and can be very affordable.
if you have a little bigger budget try looking at k2 or Burton (burton is not very cheap, but very ncie, and so is k2)
try looking for a play it again sports in your area. they sell snowbaording stuff(morrow, ride, burton and 5150) and they even have some packaged deals.
as for pennsylvania, http://skicentral.com/pennsylvania.html, shows a lot of resorts that are avalible for you. im guessing they recommend pocono mountain, so check there site out.
as for tips: get lessons, only way to learn and the easiest way to learn too. take a few lessons, after that youll see a lot of improvment. remember it will come, so just keep practicing on the bunny hill and you’ll be hitting blues and blacks in no time.
-keep you knees bent
- always look straight ahead
-be aware of others
-do what your instructor says
-have fun
to wear:
underarmoun or shirt, sweatshirt and jacket
longunderwear or sweatpants, and snow pants
wear thick socks, you’ll need them.
Biggest tip: Have FUN!
happy shredding, good luck
i was thinking about applying but only if I’d be making more money than i currently am.
Minimum wage. Don’t bother applying if money is the only reason you want to work for Zumiez. A Zumiez employee really must assume the role as a part of the family. You have to live a Zumiez lifestyle and really now how to sell a grip of shit to work your way up in the company. But like I said, you’ll be starting off strictly minimum wage and with on-call shifts only until you can prove yourself through your selling stats. It’s a great job, but if money is what your main interest is for this position, then maybe you should look else where.
I do not like falling on my butt when snowboarding! I have already bruised my tailbone pretty bad, and I was wondering if there was any special kind of pants you could buy (where, how much)
you can buy butt protection specific for snowboarding. They’re like shorts with alot of padding in the right places that protects hips and tailbone. It’s a separate clothing item, so you wear them under neath your snowboard pants. Make sure you get womens specific cos the padding is different.
Just go to a snowboard shop and ask the people there about them, they can help you with what you need
try these for an idea of what they look like

I have a Burton charger with burton freestyle bindings with the 3d disks, can anyone tell me what year they are?
If you can post the serial numbers I can tell you.
I know sandals match good with boardshorts, but if I want to wear other shoes with these boardshorts, wich ones should I choose, that will match good with jeans too ? I’m searching mainly for branded choses, like DC, Quiksilver, Puma, Converse, Element, Etnies etc.
Thanks !
I’d say that loafers type moccasins, or top siders. They are used w/o socks.
I think they lookm better than trainers with these shorts.
