Burton Lucky Womens Snowboard Pants 2010 X-SMALL - TRUE-BLACK

Dryride Durashell in the Lucky Snowboard Pants from Burton equals warmth, dryness, and protection from the elements. The Lucky pants are coated with waterproof/breathable properties that still result in a soft, affordable package. The Wrapture Lining System is engineered to work with your body by using different materials in different zones to provide the perfect amount of breathability, warmth, and comfort. For example, a closed-cell mesh in the core provides warmth and comfort while a micro cell mesh in the sides promotes breathability and moisture wicking. Every seam in the Lucky pants are taped to give you the ultimate foul weather seal. Jacket-to-Pant interface is simply put to use by linking your Burton jacket’s waist gaiter to the Fly pants zipper style and then enjoying a 100% snow-proof seal. No more days of having ice crack. Leg Lifts easily snap the bottom of your pants up instead of you having to roll them up every time you need to walk somewhere non-snow related – mud, rock, salt, pavement, and the occasional grungy restroom floor. Ride Snowboards Men's Gatewood Snowboard Jacket Lime L

When seeking out for a brand new snowboard coat there are some features you’ll want to consider for inclusion in the garment such as added warmth for fortifying your upper body, pockets to bury your paws when it’s chilly, a great fit in the hip/chest/arm areas, etc. The Ride Snowboards Men’s Gatewood Snowboard Jacket has rapidly risen to the pinnacle as one of the snow sport industry’s top performing jackets for all sorts of wintry environments. It has many of the whistles and bells needed to ensure an excellent adventure on the mountain. It can be layered on top of a performance baselayer as well, and we’d advocate one from either Helly Hansen, Mountain Hardware, Under Armour or Patagonia. Of course, Ride Snowboards could have congenial base layers in the shop that you don’t want to overlook.Ride Snowboards snowboard coats are some of the best around. The Men’s Gatewood Snowboard Jacket comes in Lime and Mind Games Canteen. Depending on the color of your other pieces of equipment, such as your snowboard pants, gloves and goggles, you may want to order a color that coincides with the rest of your gear.

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

Im getting a new skateboard with a minilogo deck or blackout, and i need good wheels that are hard and last long when street skating. I also need a good size, I’m smallish i wear size 6 1/2 to 7’s and i’m 13 so yeah. and they have to be cheap as in like 25 to maybe 35 dollars

redz bearing, venture trucks, and spitfire wheels and u already picked ur deck—this is all top of line and really goo but not so much deck

probably under a crapload of junk on your bed

What Are Some Light Weight Snowboards For Women?

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

Looking to get my first snowboard. Someone told me to look at kemper boards what are some other good lightweight begginers boards for women!
Thanks so much!

Well, pretty much any brand’s women’s beginner board is going to be pretty light. That’s one of the hallmarks of a women’s board (along with a narrower waist and softer flex).

That being said – I’d just check out a few different brand websites and research which are their women’s beginner boards. Here are a few to get you started:

What to wear under snowboard jacket?

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

I recently bought a winter jacket made by DC, the material is very water resistant but there isn’t much insulation, nor much room to layer underneath. What would you recommend to wear under the jacket to keep warm, I think a hoddie would be too big, and limit moving room.
Also, are jeans or sweats the best way to go under thin snowboard pants? I’m new to the mountain and need to know! Thanks!
Any other (useful) tips about snowboarding are welcome!

Wear a light long sleeve shirt or light sweater under. You don’t want to wear anything heavy because although its cold out you’ll still get hot from using so much energy to snowboard down the mountain. Jeans are horrible to wear under snowboard pants. Normal sweatpants work okay, but I’ve come to find that spandex pants or yoga pants work the best and are the most comfortable.

How are Bonfire snowboarding pants?

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

I know they make good jackets, what about pants? FYI im thinking about buying the Bonfire Fusion pants. I was also thinking Volcom, 686 or Salomon. Any recommendations? I usually buy from surf shops and i live on the east coast, so yeah i need stuff that retains water but im not going to spend a ton of money on stuff like gore-tex .

Bonfire makes great gear all around. However, I think the Fusion might only be 5K waterproofing? Look for the waterproofing and breathability ratings on all outerwear you are thinking of purchasing. 8K to 10K is usually what I look for when I am buying. I know sometimes the higher ratings are going to accompany pants that cost more, but it will be worth it. Also, look for leg vents, you will be thankful on warm spring days. I own a few pair of Bonfire pants, Last year I purchased the ARC pant that was 10K waterproofing and 8K breathability. My girlfriend has had really good luck with 686 pants as well.

I am not familiar with Volcom’s outerwear, however I have had good luck with their street clothes and wakeboard gear.

Salomon and Bonfire are part of the same company (I think they still are) so the quality "should" be pretty similar.

Have a good season.
