How to get money back for a ZUMIEZ giftcard?

Ok so i got a $89.95 gift card for Zumiez by returning shoes. How do i get money for that gift card? I dont have the receipt. I was wondering if i could just bring it in and just exchange it for cash.
i dont think you can, you can just get store credit, sorry
